About Us

Hunger Mountain Coop is a 20,000 square foot community owned natural foods cooperative that offers a wide selection of natural products as well as a full-service Deli and Café. However, The Coop is more than just a place to buy healthy food; we are a community resource that promotes nutritional awareness, local sustainability and environmental responsibility throughout Central Vermont.

Hunger Mountain Coop currently has over 6,000 Member-Owners, but you do not need to be a Member-Owner to shop at The Coop. Our community extends well beyond the walls of The Coop. We offer workshops and classes, outreach projects, large-scale community events, including our annual Food and Wellness Expo and Earth Day celebration, and other activities that are made available to both our Member-Owners and to the greater Central Vermont populace.
